Bible in a Year now available in paperback and e-book format on Amazon

I read through the Bible between November 2013 and March 2015. As I read daily I also wrote and posted blogs about each day’s Bible passages. This book compiles that effort. I encourage you to begin a daily Bible reading practice. You can start at any point in the year or at any point in the Bible.

Each of the 52 weeks in the year is introduced by its own devotional that summarizes the common elements in that week’s reading. Seven daily devotions covering an average of three chapters in the Bible follow each weekly devotion. Most days focus on just one chapter for the greatest impact. Many of the daily devotions contain bullet points to help you retain what you read or provide outlines for sermons.

Now you have a tool to accomplish your goal of reading through the entire Bible. Don’t worry if it takes you longer than a year. You will discover instruction and inspiration each day that you read. You don’t need willpower but you will receive power. As R. C. Sproul said, God “alone has the power to change lives for eternity, and that power is focused on the Scriptures.”
